Thailand is one of the countries where tourists feel free. During my trip to Thailand, I focused on the capital city of Bangkok and Phuket.
Bangkok
Bangkok It is the capital and most populous city of Thailand. Hosting millions of tourists every year, Bangkok is one of the most important touristic centers in Asia. Buddhist temples Wat Arun, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho and the royal palace Grand Palace are among the most visited places. The most important historical monuments of the city are gathered in the area called Ko Rattanakosin. Another important historical site of Bangkok is Chinatown.




Wat Pho Temple
This temple is Famous for its Giant Reclining Buddha Statue. It is also the largest Temple in Bangkok. The resting Buddha statue, covered with gold leaf and mother-of-pearl, is 15 meters high and 46 meters long. The Reclining Buddha is the most famous temple in the city.



Phuket
It is the world famous tourism island of Thailand. Its capital is Phuket City. Tourists from all over the world visit this island in Phuket. The tourist density is very high. The most famous and crowded beach of the island is Patong beach on the west coast. Other popular beaches are Karon and Kata beaches.
Indigenous peoples of Phuket use different greeting words for men, separate women, and even Transsexuals. Small vehicles called Tuk-Tuks are the most ideal means of transportation within the island.
Boat trips are available from Phuket to Phang Nga Bay, which also features the famous island of Ko Tapu from a James Bond movie. The famous Phi Phi Islands, where the movie The Beach was filmed, are among other places with day tours from Phuket. The third season, eighth episode of Lost was shot in Phuket.
